A NEW TWIST ON A CLASSIC TRADITION
America is all about cars—not tiny electric ones—ones with big motors and gleaming chrome. Another tradition is the car/model calendar—however the twist here is that the models are running the show. In an era when we might claim that a car show with models feeds old ideas about gender maybe we need to understand that some strong women are creating a cultural event that honors traditions while allowing some folks to express their identity while taking charge of the presentation and the experience. And that’s exactly what the MOTOR MODEL MEET UP is all about on September 11 between 12 and6 at the city park in Marysville MI.
